What a brilliant morning was had by 10 children from years 3 and 4. Together they set off to Benfield School to be met by the Newcastle PE Sports Service and Sports Leaders. Seven games of benchball were played in rapid succession with substitutions being made to enable everyone to play.
The children marked their opponents, searched for spaces to play in and worked exceptionally well as a team. Mrs Turner and Mrs MacLeod were very proud of them all.
Out of the 7 games, they were victorious in 3 with the other four being great battles until the end.
